Fort Lee, NJ, Aug. 11, 2004 (PRNewswire-FirstCall) -- ICL Industrial Products announces a $250 per ton price increase in list and off-list prices of its Chlorinated Isocyanurate products.
The price increases will be:
-- By 10 cents/lb for CDB(R) 90 (Trichloroisocyanuric Acid),
-- By 10 cents/lb for CDB 56 (Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate, Dihydrate), and
-- By 12 cents/lb for CDB 63 (Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate, Anhydrous) will be increased.
The company said that the increases in raw materials, energy and transportation costs, following the price erosion for this product in recent years, requires the adjustment of the product price. Existing market conditions of the supply and demand for this product warrant this price adjustment.
Subject to existing contracts, the price increase will be effective as of Sept. 1, 2004.
Chlorinated isocyanurates are used as biocides in water treatment applications ranging from pool & spa through industrial water to cleaning and sanitizing. These products are being marketed worldwide by Clearon Corp. Clearon is based in Fort Lee, NJ, with the production of chlorinated isocyanurates in South Charleston, WV.
ICL Industrial Products, of Tel Aviv, Israel, is one of the ICL Group's four managerial segments. It produces bromine, magnesia and chlorine from Dead Sea brines, and manufactures and markets a range of bromine compounds, including flame retardants, bromides for industry, agriculture and water treatment, as well as a range of magnesia products and chlorine-based products for numerous uses.
